Hello, it's a pleasure to finally meet you here! :)When I was pursuing a B.F.A. degree in Art Video at Syracuse University, I had the chance to dive deep into the world of visual storytelling. With a passion for media arts, I joined FADS, a student-run Syracuse fashion agency, as the Video Director. In this role, I shot and edited videos for monthly shoots, promotional videos for the semi-annual FADS fashion show, and a fashion show featuring over 70 looks. The show attracted approximately 300 attendees. This job honed both my teamwork and shooting skills. From the moment I discovered the art of storytelling through video, I felt a profound joy. When editing, the sequence of each scene and the combination of sound and visuals made me realize that through editing, you can truly see how someone views the world. The control over rhythm and other elements made me fall in love with the entire video production process. During my time at FADS, I closely watched the production process, from job coordination and personnel management to the collaboration of multiple departments in creating the final video. One of the most valuable experiences was incorporating my expertise in video storytelling into fashion videos. While I'm skilled in several areas, including photography, painting, ceramic wheeling, screen printing, my primary focus is on creating videos that celebrate diverse cultures. I constantly ask myself how we can ensure that audiences from around the world feel connected and discover beauty they may have overlooked or related to, not just while watching a video, but experiencing a story.Thank you for taking the time to visit my space. Please feel free to check out my portfolio. I look forward to connecting with you in the future!
