Microsoft TV Platform Deployment (2000 – 2000)I managed the design, development and integration of the user interface for an implementation of MSTV set-top box. The UI comprised of over 100 interfaces. Team members included the customer, MS product groups and external consultants I hired to build the interface.Microsoft Y2K Team (1999 – 2000)Managed a team responsible for ensuring 83 product families and 52 online services were prepared for Y2K. I defined the Y2K compliance process and the metrics for monitoring and reporting progress and status. I designed a tracking, monitoring and reporting system used by the Y2K teams and senior management. Member of the executive Y2K and companywide product group tasks forces.MSN (1998 – 1999)I managed the ongoing service delivery and updates for the group’s web usage and statistical analysis tool, and service offering for over 30 online services. Drove the requirements gathering with team leads and customers to defined and prioritize deliverables for the next release of the service. Managed the team’s master schedule for all projects and redefined team roles to improve communication and shorten customer response time.Microsoft Product Deployment Guides and Workshops (1996 – 1998)I managed the development of 12 Service Guides and 2 Planning Workshops from definition through delivery. Drove the transformation of the guides from a marketing focused, high process, low technology guide to a more technically focused, example drive deliverable for MCS, Partners and IT professionals. Lead the team to streamline the development process and reduce the development costs by 30%. Guide distribution increased from under 1,000 to over 5,000 guides in print and over 3,500 electronic downloads from MCSP website.

Served as project lead on a variety of small and large development projects for several Fortune 500 companies. My roles included test lead, project manager, and product architect and deployment manager for upgrading 3000 desktops to Microsoft Windows NT, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Systems Management Server.
