I support parents, as they navigate the adjustments, challenges, and barriers that may arise on the journey to parenthood. As a pandemic parent myself, I bring new connection & understanding into my therapeutic work with parents & new mothers. When working with children I use creative outlets; play, art or music. I also in my work implement strength based & trauma informed approaches such as ; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Self Compassion & EMDR. Additionally, enjoy incorporating mindfulness/grounding exercises.

- Provide in home and telehealth community based mental health treatment providing therapeutic support and interventions related to peripartum anxiety and/or depression- Trauma- informed- Culturally Sensitive- Collaborate in a partnership with Public Health Nurses for coordination of care- Conduct documentation through Cerner Database- Establish treatment plans, provide education and resource referrals for clients- Engage in weekly Clinical Supervision- Conduct Evidence based assessments - Screen potential clients referred to program for medical necessity - Complete on-going trainings

- Implement Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Natural Environment Training (NET) and behavior modifications in home and school settings. - Implement early intervention for toddler aged clients. - Provide in-home parent trainings.- Collect and calculate data along with record clinical progress notes daily.

- Conduct socio-emotional focused classroom lessons working on regulation, social skills, conflict resolution and inclusion.- Lead support groups on anxiety, social skills, mindfulness and growth mindset. - Engaged in trans-disciplinary team through Student Support Team (SST) meetings supporting child’s growth in home and school. - Raise awareness of mental health issues on campus. - Utilized therapeutic modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brief Solution Focused, Child-Directed Play. - Document daily progress notes for both individual and group sessions.
