I am a co-founder of Thinking Reading, an award winning whole school literacy intervention. I designed Thinking Reading, a high-impact programme that enables adolescents with significant reading problems to catch up quickly and completely. We work with schools to ensure that all students, regardless of background, leave school able to read and write well. In addition to working with schools, I speak at education events and conferences, co-authored ‘Thinking Reading: What Every Secondary Teacher Needs to Know About Reading’ and contributed to ‘What Does This Look Like in the Classroom?’ and ‘The researchED Guide to Literacy’.
