I am a Child and Adolescent and Adult psychiatrist in private practice in Hackensack, New Jersey and a practicing emergency room psychiatrist at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark New Jersey. Working in these settings enables me to maintain an active role in hospital psychiatry while enjoying the benefits of having a private practice. Furthermore , working at a busy inner-city hospital as Beth Israel, Newark provides a sharp contrast to working in suburban Hackensack. One of my struggles is balancing a busy career with family life but I enjoy both facets of my life, and I would not trade it for anything in the world.
