Educators who are experienced with flipped learning and who update their knowledge with the latest global research and best practices. I use this approach in my distance education teaching.

I currently teach senior secondary distance students Biology, Geology, Nutrition , Health and PLP via Webex , phone, Moodle & Skype using a flipped learning approach. I've developed and written On-line courses in Geology, Biology,Nutrition (co-wrote) and Pathways to Adult Learning in a range of LMS platforms (WebCT , Jansion and now Moodle) across a range of subjects. I've presented at a range of conferences on using on-line technology in the both the sciences and Health PE area, eg State Conference EDTECH 2016, Flip Con Qld & FlipCon Adelaide 2016, International ACHPER conference 2015, MoodleMoot 2013, AADES 2011,Canada 2004 etc and Ive ran workshops at the state conferences such as SASTA & the Computers in Education Group of South Australia (CEGSA) & ACHPER conferences, on using on-line learning technologies in the sciences and health areas.I attended the first National Science Summer School at Flinder's University in 2008 based on my expertise with on-line learning in science.Ive instructed others at in the use of learning technologies. I taught the PAL (Pathways to Adult Learning) Human Health in conjunction with (UniSA) for a number of years.I co- presented a paper on the use of ICT in Virtual Excursions and Online discussions at a Computer’s in Education conference. This was published in 2007 of the National magazine The Educational Technology Guide 2007, on the ‘Use of Virtual Fieldtrips and the use of on-line Discussion in teaching’. Ive also published on -line following a conference in Canada.I won The Premier’s Westfield Scholarship for Quality Curriculum Design and Pedagogy jointly with another teacher in 2003/4.I was selected by DECS to attend the National Youth Science Forum in Canberra 2004 as a presenter. I was (seconded) as Education Officer to CSIRO for term 2 to organize a state-wide astronomy night to celebrate International Year of Astronomy with an indigenous focus while presenting the physics and chemistry practical workshops for the term to school groups that attended the Centre.

Worked on a National Nutrition Project for six months looking at the training required for canteen managers with the introduction of new nutritional guidelines in school canteens.
