I have been responsible for many aspects of Human Resource management, including hiring and managing employees, processing all new hire paperwork into the HRIS, preparing internal and external job postings, preparing materials and participating in Career Fairs, scheduling and conducting pre-screens, interviews and reference checks, conducting new employee orientation sessions, performing payroll functions, organizing arranging and tracking training, maintaining employee bulletin boards and personnel files in accordance with collective agreements, legal requirements and company policies and procedures, working with the JHSC to maintain union, company and legislated health and safety standards, assisting with the management of Non-Occ and Occupational illness and injuries, WSIB and RTW process and paperwork, tracking attendance and vacation time, and performing special projects.
