The Police, Treatment, and Community Collaborative (PTACC) is an alliance of practitioners in law enforcement, behavioral health, community, advocacy, research, and public policy, whose mission is to strategically widen community behavioral health and social service options available through law enforcement diversion. The purpose of the Collaborative is to provide vision, leadership, advocacy, and education to facilitate the practice of pre-arrest diversion across the United States and the globe.I have supported the goal setting process and facilitating virtual and in-person meetings to create annual goals and objectives to the National Leadership Council, a coalition of independent organizations with a shared commitment to deflecting and diverting people with mental health and substance use disorder from the criminal justice system.Additionally I have provided planning, marketing, on-site event management, and MC responsibilities for the annual PTACC International Deflection and Pre-Arrest Diversion Summit. Chicago 2022; Denver 2023; Seattle 2024.

Develop and execute external marketing and internal engagement strategy for the Columbia, MD Galloway Training Program. Activities include assisting with planning local special events to recruit participants and raise awareness of the program; coordinating and executing a social media engagement calendar, including creating digital media content/assets; developing a recruitment and awareness raising campaign, including building/strengthening relationships with the existing running community, fitness stores, and other sources for potential clients.Former Olympic marathoner, Jeff Galloway, designed the run-walk-run method in 1973 to help beginners start running. Strategic walk breaks allow each runner to control fatigue, virtually eliminating significant running injuries. Using his training program, the Columbia, MD Galloway Training Program will prepare clients to run either a half or full marathon.

Responsible for designing, supporting, and executing in-person education and networking events; creating engagement opportunities in virtual communities that PJI supports; and promoting events, resources and opportunities sponsored by PJI and our partners (including funders such as the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation), consistent and aligned with PJI's strategic vision.Event Planning and Management:- Accountable for the implementation of the MacArthur Safety and Justice Challenge, to include collaborating with the Foundation and grantees and designing materials for two network-wide convenings per year.- Contribute to strategic development and support for event planning related Pretrial Innovators (PJI sponsored and/or fee-based) events.- Collaborate on the development and execution of other PJI sponsored events (in planning or execution) in support of PJI's strategic initiatives, as needed.Engagement in Virtual Spaces:- Generate thoughtful engagement strategies and day-to-day content for a variety of the virtual spaces that PJI supports (primarily focusing on the University of Pretrial, SJC Exchange, and external social media).- Work with staff internally to create engagement opportunities in PJI-supported virtual spacesPromotion:- In collaboration with the Communications pod, develop and execute promotion plans for PJI sponsored events, such as Pretrial innovators events and tuition-based learning courses (in-person and virtual), as well as no-cost virtual activities.- In collaboration with the Communications pod, support document roll-out strategies.- contribute to the design and creation of marketing materials and/or event swag that aligns with the PJI footprint.

Provided resources, training, and support to law enforcement leaders in the following topic areas: Pretrial Justice Reform; Elimination of Sexual Abuse in Confinement (PREA); Census of State and Local Law Enforcement Agencies; Project Safe Neighborhoods - Gang and Gun Violence Reduction; Building Trust between Law Enforcement and Communities of Color; National SWAT Study; Coordination with the OJP Diagnostic Center; Homicide Closure Best Practices; Smaller and Rural Law Enforcement Agencies - Administration, Management, and Leadership; New Police Chief Mentoring; Capitol Police; Law Enforcement Response to Persons with Mental Illness; Officer Suicide; Internal Affairs; Wrongful Convictions. Also served as guest editor of Police Chief Magazine for several editions.Managed seven concurrent projects with a portfolio of $6.5 million. Coordinated training events, national policy summits and symposia for 10-300 people, as well as a training track at the annual conference, hosting 15,000+ attendees.
