Dianne Kennedy has had a long career on the leading edge of information technology innovations. Her career began as a writer/editor for the Doubleday Educational Publishing division. She went on to become a technical writer and participated in the transformation of the first intelligent content language, GML into ISO 8879, SGML in 1986. Since that time, she has worked with organizations such as Boeing, United Airlines, GE Aircraft Engines, US Airforce, Ford Motor Company, CCH/ Wolters Kluwer and Thompson Publishing to set content strategies and to architect intelligent content publishing systems. In 2003, Kennedy joined Idealliance as the VP of Digital Technologies where she led efforts of the magazine industry to develop a metadata infrastructure, PRISM, that positions today’s magazine media companies to publish not only in print but on digital delivery platforms. Since 2015, she has served as the editor for ISO 20616. Kennedy continues her work on this ISO standard under the sponsorship of Idealliance, She launched PQX Consulting to assist those implementing ISO 20616-2, PQX and ISO 20616-3, PRX. Currently Kennedy is a Technical Advisor to Ictext, Inc. focused on implementations of editorial solutions incorporating Intelligent Content (IC) and ChatGPT.Kennedy is the recipient of numerous industry awards including the Franklin Luminaire Innovation Award. She has been an active public speaker throughout her career making conference presentations in the United States, Europe, Australia, Korea, Japan and Hong Kong. Currently Kennedy serves as editor for ISO 20616. She also is the chief consultant for PQX Consulting, an enterprise of Kennedy Consulting.
