With over 20 years of experience in the mining industry, I am a passionate and driven manager of quality and process improvement at Grange Resources, a leading producer of iron ore pellets and concentrate. My core competencies include metallurgy, process engineering, process control, and operational excellence. I am committed to delivering high-quality products and services to our customers, while ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of our employees and the environment. I thrive on collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders, and leveraging my expertise and experience to optimize processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.In my current role, I am responsible for managing the quality and process improvement activities for the Savage River Magnetite Concentrator and the Port Latta Pelletising plant, which produces over 2.5 million tonnes of Magnetite concentrate and iron ore pellets per year. I lead and support the development and implementation of improvement projects, such as enhancing the plant performance, reliability, and availability, reducing the energy and water consumption, and improving the product quality and consistency. I also oversee the quality control and assurance processes, such as sampling, testing, analysis, and reporting, and ensure compliance with the relevant standards and regulations, whilst interacting with international customers on our product, and value in use of our product.
