I started my career as a writer at Reeves Entertainment on the lot at ABC Studios in Los Angeles working on General Hospital, The Home Show, and ABC News, then naturally transitioned into marketing positions in the video game industry when I moved to the SF Bay Area. I've been working in startups since 1995 and have three acquisitions under my belt. I'm an authority in the transformation and hyper-growth of companies, with a focus on go-to-market activities.I co-founded a startup accelerator in 2018, focusing on diverse and female founders with the intent to help them build their businesses so they could get VC funding. As it turns out, no matter how ready they were for funding with revenue, MOM growth of traction with users, etc., they just weren't getting funding. It turns out investors only invest in what they are comfortable with and since there weren't many diverse and female investors there was a kink in the investing system.
