My career began in healthcare, rooted in a passion for improving the lives of others through compassionate and effective care. As a Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduate from Universidad del Cauca in Colombia, I served in roles that demanded critical decision-making, collaboration, and leadership, including as Chief Nurse in a cardiology intensive care unit. While excelling in these roles, I recognized how technology was transforming healthcare and saw the potential for even greater improvements in patient care and operational efficiency.Exposure to technology in healthcare settings inspired me to explore how advancements in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and digital transformation could revolutionize functions like case management, nurse, doctor, ambulance, patient transportation scheduling, and medical record handling. My experience with triage during patient intake and behavioral analysis for autism care further deepened this realization, as I discovered parallels between these methodologies and practices in cybersecurity. This sparked my pivot into technology, motivated by the belief that I could amplify my impact—helping more patients receive exceptional care enabled by modern technology.Since then, I have pursued rigorous certifications in cloud computing and cybersecurity—including credentials from CompTIA, ISC2, Google Cloud, AWS, and Microsoft—equipping me with the expertise to design and secure technology solutions tailored to healthcare needs. My healthcare background gives me a unique edge in understanding the industry's specific functions and challenges, allowing me to implement technology solutions that directly address those needs.With a passion for leveraging technology as an exponential multiplier, I aim to bridge the gap between healthcare and technology, driving innovation and ensuring the highest levels of care and operational excellence.
