Assisted in the Batey Lab with synthesizing beta axial vitamin B12 derivatives, column chromatography, and HPLC. I also learned many new lab techniques such as PCR, transcription, and binding and functional assays.

I worked with other counselors to create a fun and exciting environment for children to enter. We worked together to create fun and engaging outdoor and indoor activities for the kids and creatively used limited resources for these activities. During the camp, I would actively monitor the kids and ensure their safety. After the camp ended, I helped to clean the area and prepare the camp for the next day.
