Passionate, cross-functional and results-driven Chartered Accountant with over ten years experience working in fast-moving commercial environments including a large multi-national security company and a large Irish-owned retail company.Strong technical skills, a focus on attention to detail and an ability to prioritize work in order to meet tight deadlines have helped me progress in any role I have been given. Also, possessing communication skills that have enabled me to engage successfully with a wide variety of tasks and stakeholders. Experience managing teams and individuals both locally in Ireland but also remotely in the UK. In my roles I have learned that it is my task as a finance professional to bring non-finance people along on a journey to achieve the best financial results possible. However, my experience has been heightened by fully engaging with Admin, Operations, Sales, IT, HR and Managing Directors to understand the businesses from their perspective. This has helped me see the business world beyond spreadsheets and P&Ls and ultimately given me the skills required to really add value in my roles.
