Senior Director, Clinical Application Services
CurrentResponsible for the operational support of (230 plus) clinical applications in production today and for winding down the applications that will be replaced by the enterprise level implementation of Epic. This includes:• Digital Imaging - Spearheading the centralized support for Radiology, Cardiology, Digital Pathology, and the Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) solutions. Ensuring optimal performance, centralization, and integration to enhance diagnostic capabilities.• Enterprise Document Imaging – support for the storage and retrieval of documents captured internally or provided from external sources, and support for the Release of Information (ROI).• Medical Device Information Systems – Support for the applications which are integrated to various biomedical equipment throughout the organization to capture diverse data points used by the clinicians to make informed decisions.• Departmental Application Support - Providing support for Critical Care Units, Anesthesiology, Pulmonary, and the Department of Medicine.• Radiation Oncology – Overseeing the non-research-related applications used by Radiation Oncology.• Clinical and Logistics, Agile Platform which consists of 11 teams and growing, responsible for the delivery of value-added products and Clinical Application Solutions. • Responsible for the transition and operational support of newly developed clinical applications.• Legacy Systems Support - Managing and winding down complex Pharmacy Information Technology, Lab Information Systems, Legacy Electronic Health Record (EHR), Legacy Epic (Optime, Anesthesia, and Scheduling), and Legacy Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
