Growing up, I had deep rooted passion for helping others, especially those who couldn't advocate for themselves. I felt social work was my calling and geared my education as such. Once I entered Child Welfare, I quickly realized that my passion would lead me into a career in business. Pursuing my MBA has been the most beneficial journey to finding my true calling: Human Resources. I have enjoyed the time I've spent in direct service positions, and my sudden movement into management aided personal and professional self-discoveries. I value the growth of others and take pride in helping others achieve their goals. Growth is essential to me and any journey I embark on. I value quality and efficiency. I am a critical and systematic thinker, which I consider as a strength of mine, but is not easily recognized by others. In my experience, I use data and facts to guide my decision-making, which has led to successful outcomes. In all of my professional experience, I have taken on Human Resources responsibilities. From screenings potential new staff to developing an onboarding program from scratch, I have never shied away from taking on new roles and projects for the betterment of the organization. Through networking, I am hopeful to grow my knowledge and strengthen my understanding of the challenges and solutions occurring in workforces today.
