My working experience in television industry is more than sixteen years. As Head Operations, Administration,Television Producer, Director & Script Writer gave me invaluable insight into the television process; with hands on experience of location shooting, studio editing, office work and general duties as per demand. My working experience in the print media as Executive Editor is very short but in a span of about two years in “The Hills Times,” English daily published from Diphu, Karbi Anglong, Assam, India with wide circulation in Karbi Anglong and NC Hills, hill districts of Assam,India, I have gathered immense knowledge on the area, be it political, social and other issue of interest and concern. I have visited many interior places in these districts including some of the militant camps to cover exclusive stories.My degree and my professional demand have proven my ability to express critical opinions within a sustained argument. A high level of research and analytical reading was essential to reach this standard. The experiences of writing news based script; documentary film scripts have increased my confidence in these skills.
