I am in-charge of timely monthly closing process including planning, JE booking, transactions posting, reconciling, auditing and closing periods. I am responsible for preparing monthly individual and consolidated financials, variance analysis, borrowing base reports, financial splits by clients, and divisions. I have been involved in researching important accounting issues, providing reports, memos and recommendations on various accounting treatments. Also actively involved in special projects including accounting system upgrades (from QuickBooks to different versions of Dynamics SL); Enterprise Resource Planning implementation, testing and upgrades (from Progata to erecruit), preparing financial forecasts, managing company’s registration and dissolution in various states, handling sales, use, gross receipt, GST/HST and RST taxes, issuing yearly 1099 MISC and coordinating with external auditors in interim and year-end external audits.
