I continue to write books for WEI, supervise the WEI postal mail teaching ministry, rise funds and recruit teachers for the WEI office in Gresham, Oregon and for the WEI Internet ministry. I spend an average of six hours a day answering questions from WEI students and teachers via e-mail, and communicating with WEI administrators via e-mail and telephone. My wife, Maudine, and I also travel extensively to promote WEI at university lectureships and mission conventions. I still lead teams of short-term missionaries to various mission sites around the world. I serve on the WEI Board of Directors and help develop plans for the future. I am also involved in negotiating with John Reese and other World Bible School leaders as we plan a joint-effort to lead China and the entire world to Christ. Locally, I oversee the work of two secretaries in the Gresham office as they send free WEI materials to teachers, missionaries, and national preachers. I write and edit the quarterly WEI newsletter, keep books, and prepare financial statements for the newsletter, combining financial reports from the Gresham, Maryville, and Round Rock offices. I also serve as an elder of the Metro Church of Christ in Gresham, Oregon where the WEI western office is located--the office that serves as corporate headquarters.

I served as a pulpit minister for churches of Christ in Texas, New Mexico, Oregon, and California for forty-two years. My family and I served as missionaries in Taiwan in the late 60's and early 70's. By the grace of God,I have taught Bible classes for college credit at the Del Mar College Bible Chair in Corpus Christi, Texas (1957-60) and at Columbia Christian College in Portland, Oregon (1964-76). The Lord used me to train Chinese preachers in Taiwan through an extension of the Columbia Christian College School of Biblical Studies (1968-69; 72-74).
