My own research has been focused on the interactions between land use change, biodiversity conservation, and climate mitigation and adaptation, primarily in California. At TNC, I worked with incredible collaborators in academia, private sector, public agencies, and NGOs to characterize the effects of alternative climate and land use futures on biodiversity, carbon cycling, and water sustainability. I also have deep expertise in developing conservation planning decision-support systems to guide conservation strategies and investments.
