Mr. Edwards provides international development consulting services in the environment and energy fields. He is a Senior Partner with Asia Clean Energy Partners Ltd., where he leads the climate finance and policy practice. He is a certified Green and Sustainable Finance Professional, with current climate finance assignments for ADB, leading climate risk assessments and technical assistance to the financial services sector in the Pacific, India, Vietnam, and Mongolia. He oversees ACE Partners' team afor the USAID South Asia Regional Energy Partnership (SAREP) program and leads our inputs for the USTDA South and Southeast Asia clean energy program. He has led a wind power assessment in Indonesia for the European Climate Foundation's TARA program and developed a knowledge product on thematic bonds for ADB in Thailand. From 2017 to 2019 he served on ECODIT's Senior Leadership Team and led ECODIT’s Business Development and Energy Practice teams, providing strategic guidance to enhance organizational development (www.ecodit.com). He served as ECODIT's manager for the USAID Power Africa IDIQ and Energy II IDIQs, and led several successful proposal efforts, including for the Energy II IDIQ and the Power Africa Niger Mini-Grid Feasibility Study and Data and Technical Support Services wins. He also provided strategic guidance for the USAID-funded Vietnam Green Annamites biodiversity project.Mr. Edwards has thirty-five years' experience leading international development programs in clean energy, power sector reform, climate change, disaster risk reduction, natural resources management and conservation finance.He is highly skilled in leading complex, multi-disciplined teams in the public and private sectors to address energy and environmental challenges worldwide. Expertise includes program design and management, business development and technical writing, donor coordination and public diplomacy.Mr. Edwards' overseas experience includes short-term assignments in over 30 developing countries and long-term residency in the Philippines (8 years), Papua New Guinea and the Pacific Islands (2 years), South Asia (8.5 years) and five years in North Africa (Morocco and Egypt).
