I am currently the project manager for Strategic Construction Solutions at the FMI site in Morenci AZ. I have been managing this segment for SCS since June 2013. My duties include estimating and managing the construction and maintenance projects for SCS at the mine and projects for the local communities. SCS has recently completed an approximately $1M project for new water main and street paving mprovements for the Town of Clifton and FMI's Morence Water and Electric. Prior to this I was with Stantec Engineers's team at the BHP Pinto Valley Mine reopening project in Miami, AZ. This project was a $200M ten month project to re-start the mining at Pinto Valley. My position was contracts responsible. In that position I worked with contractors and the Stantec engineers to develop work scopes and project details for the restart project.In the months proceeding the BHP project I was in New Zealand. In Christ Church,New Zealand I was using my Professional Engineer's experience evaluating earthquake damage buildings for Zurich Insurance.I was the Aviation Segment of CS&W Contractors for nearly five years. I have expanded the segment from a local Aviation Contractor to a regionall contractractor with projects in Bullhead City AZ, Durango Co. Colorado Springs, CO., Mesa AZ, and Goodyear AZ. in addition to The Phoenix area. My heavy civil experience in earthmoving, underground utilities, concrete and asphalt paving have made a major contribution to the segment.I have moved the Aviation Segment and the company into the Roller Compacted Concrete Field. We are currently constructing and bidding projects.
