As the Drainage Expert within the PWA he has been involved the planning and decision making at the highest level on the shape of the infrastructure and the long term spending in Qatar. As Project Coordinator on the Integrated Drainage Master Plan for Qatar, he has been involved in extensive stakeholder management both internally and with external Ministries and other entities. Involvement in this role has spanned from preparing the Project Brief, tendering and award of the Consultancy Services to the evaluation of technical reports ranging from data collection, evaluation criteria, hydraulic modelling, option development and implementation strategy. Implementation of the Master Plan proposals is now ongoing and involves continuous liaison with the Programme Managers and Consultants for the Local Roads and Drainage and for the Expressways Programmes.
