After spending over 32 years working for a public utility managing resource conservation activities, energy efficiency programs and heading up the City of Ashland, Oregon's Municipal Electric Utility, I began work at the beginning of 2010 for the Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF). While working for the City I had previously collaborated with BEF on two solar electric generation projects. The second one was the first community solar project in Oregon and one of the first in the entire nation. I worked for BEF for nearly 11 years and retired on 10/1/2020. At BEF I'm the Vice President of our Renewable Energy Group which operates our awarding winning K-12 renewable education program Solar 4R Schools. Our group also works to catalyze development of small or community scale renewable energy projects in the Pacific Northwest.Working on both of these fronts for the non-profit Bonneville Environmental Foundation is truly a rewarding experience that has been very enjoyable and exciting. We continue to develop new avenues that help our various partners meet their environmental, sustainability and climate goals.Our extensive experience in these arenas provide a wide variety of tools that can help achieve outcomes that use market based approaches to achieve mutual successes.I retired from BEF on 10/1/2020 and I'm now living in Ashland, Oregon.
