Every time I approached him, Dick would first ask lots of questions before helping either directly or by recommending some additional relevant resources to check. He never did not know an answer or how to find one, something I think is incredibly important and would make Dick an absolute asset to whatever team he is a part of. A team player, confident in himself, his work, and his ability to find solutions; a truly powerful programmer and mentor!" and "I had the pleasure to work with Dick on one of our capstone projects (Peekr). Throughout the project, he always demonstrated good leadership, whenever the group was deviating from the main focus of the project. He would take a depth breadth, gathering the whole group together bringing everybody to focus again. He has excellent coding skills, in Ruby/Rails, Javascript and loves Styling (CSS), those skills were not only seem in this project but throughout the entire program either by personal projects of his own, group projects or presentations. Besides being a great leader and coder he is a delight to work with, very easy going and great at presentations ( he has a passion and talent for improvisation and a killer voice to go with it.)
