I served as leader of Pillsbury's Northern California Corporate & Securities-Technology team from early 2011 until I went out on disability leave in late 2013 when I took leave for a surgery. The surgery resulted in a serious infection and led to numerous complications and surgeries over the following years so I never had the opportunity to resume practice. I retired from Pillsbury at the end of December, 2020. My practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, securities and general corporate and business counsel for technology and non-technology companies. I had extensive experience representing corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies in all stages from formation through divestiture. I served as general counsel to companies in a variety of industries and represented corporations, partnerships, LLCs and venture funds in hundreds of securities transactions.
