Certification Representatives are tasked with a two-part job process. The first involves processing Medical Release Form uploads from sales representatives that indicate healthcare providers capable of verifying that a customer has a form of hearing loss; ensuring that they are in compliance with federal guidelines provided by the FCC. The second portion involves contacting those Healthcare Providers to verify that the customer does in fact have hearing loss and sign a certification form verifying such. In this position I performed the following tasks and skills:-Thorough and precise review of uploaded documents (which could be as many as 40 daily) to ensure accuracy and federal compliance, else risking litigation or withholding of funds from the company. -Handle and transfer medical documentation in accordance with HIPPA (the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act)-Research indicated Providers to verify accurate contact information. Enabling us to reach and confirm the claim of hearing loss.-In a concise and sensitive manner, give both customers and providers explanation and assistance in understanding the need for our function and the information we are attempting to acquire.-Manage timely follow up with all requests sent to providers (Numbering more than 200 at a given time) via phone, fax, email, and letter mail.-Forge and foster relationships with a multitude of providers and medical institutions. Including: The Veterans Affairs, Kaiser Permanente, and franchise hearing aid providers such as MiracleEar.-Communicate and coordinate with as many as 18 field sales reps across the entire north east region of the U.S. to ensure they are set up for success in their document uploads-Delegate the processing and upload of Provider-Signed forms to agents managing the appropriate regions
