Led and provided direction to HR managers for human resource initiatives in 11 manufacturing sites in various locations in the US. This position is part of the North America Tire SBU. Responsible for all facets of HR in these facilities, to include talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, policy deployment and application, benefit administration,and labor relations. Working closely with the business leader, we developed systems, training programs and semi-annual manufacturing leader meetings to drive and achieve annual operating plans, building a cohesive team that met and exceeded business objectives.

Responsible for all facets of HR and providing HR support to HR managers at 13 manufacturing sites in North America. EPD generated sales of 1.6 billion and functioned as a separate SBU of the Company. While working with the VP of Global Labor Relations, we developed and executed a strategy during Master contract negotiations that contributed greatly to the turnaround of the company. During that negotiation process, I led the Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations that achieved over one billion in annual savings for the company. During this tenure, I was also asked to lead first contract negotiations in three separate manufacturing sites that were organized by the United Steelworkers, as a result of a neutrality agreement reached by the parties. At the conclusion of this assignment, I was asked to lead the successor bargain for the new company created by the sale of the Engineered Products division to the Carlyle Group, which formed Veyance Technologies.

This unionized (OCAW) facility of 350 employees produced PVC and antioxidants for both internal and external customers.HR Manager at San Angelo Proving Grounds from 1994-1996. High customer visibility in this 150 employee, union-free testing complex, responsible for all facets of HR.HR Manager at the Houston chemical plant from 1997-2001. Seven different unions with five different labor agreements, this 750 employee location produced synthetic rubber for the tire industry, as well as gum base and latex for external customers. Responsible for all facets of HR.HR Leader working for Global VP of Labor Relations in Akron, OH corporate offices. Provided research, reports and managed projects, including key player in 2003 and 2006 Master contract negotiations.
