Reporting to Railway Protection Engineer, I lead a team of site inspectors to ensure the construction works adjacent to operating railway lines will not affect the safe operation of the railway. I mainly focused on the works carried out by Shatin to Central Link (SCL), which include construction of cut-and-cover tunnel directly adjacent to existing East Rail Line, various modification works in and under Hung Hom Station and TBM crossing under existing Diamond Hill station.

Reporting to the Senior Construction Engineer, I was responsible on the construction management of a section of cut-and-cover tunnel at 25 m below ground in XRL Contract 811A which pass underneath existing West Rail Line Tunnel. Close coordination with MTR Operations and Government has been made to ensure the safe operation of West Rail Line during the underpinning and load transfer works.
