About Nicholas Dickinson

In college, I studied entrepreneurship and supply chain management. After graduation, I went to work for Amazon. I led teams ranging from 50-350 employees and had the opportunity to try multiple different leadership styles. It took multiple tries before I could find the right fit to ensure I had one of the best-performing teams in the operation. After a while, I grew tired of feeling like a cog in a wheel and discovered that maybe supply chain management was the wrong path and entrepreneurship was my true calling.So I took the plunge and founded a firm alongside two partners. It took us a bit to find our footing in the professional services world, but after some trial and error, we found our sweet spot. We also self-implemented EOS and began focusing on the issues that kept us from reaching our vision. I was able to revamp processes, establish new service lines, grow our team 8x, and create a transparent, accountable, and committed culture.Now, we are helping other companies by cleaning up their accounting functions, establishing best practice processes, and giving them the transparency allowing for better strategic direction. Being a part of a leadership team at a new ARQD (Amazon Robotics Quick Deploy) facility is in itself making history. As a team, we are traveling a path in Amazon Operations that has never been travelled before. There are many nuances and challenges we encounter along the way that require a sense of creativity to overcome. This has provided me the opportunity to create new standards and processes that have been established building wide.
