Works with large companies including Energy industry, TIMOs, REITs, NGOs to develop corporate sustainability strategies. Responsibilities include sales, origination, key climate strategy advisory services, developing Environment, Health and Safety portfolio, environmental and social initiatives associated with the manufacturing, distribution, sales and marketing, communications and government relations elements of the company's multiple business streams. Consultation with internal and external stakeholders including, supply chain partners, government, industry, NGO and community leaders. Assisted with program setup and capital fundraising for large institutional investors. Work includes using financial structuring and current market knowledge to maximize the value of carbon offsets and other environmental assets.

As Director in a newly created position in a large private, non-profit business related to conservation organization including environmental problem solving involving among staff, volunteers, members and many corporate and public sector partners across North and Latin America. • Worked with cross-functional teams to develop international strategic plans and business plans to create a climate strategy for innovative and effective planning and business execution. • Led development of partnerships with corporations on initiatives that included corporate sustainable business strategies involving carbon management, mitigation, air and water quality improvements and overall conservation strategies. • Worked on the Development Team that executed the world’s largest non-profit fund-raising campaign ($1.7 billion) for conservation and the environment ranging from grassroots community events to major philanthropy. •Co-founded and directed the positioning and marketing of DU’s carbon offset easement program and coordinated all carbon sequestration and environmental asset activities throughout the organization including a $1 million forestry offset project with Cinergy Corp (now Duke Energy) and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. • Led DU’s Carbon and GIS database Program for Ducks Unlimited (DU), During this period, the organization conserved almost 5 million acres of habitat• Delivered a first-of-its-kind forest private carbon conservation easement to a consortium of 25 large utility companies called PowerTree Carbon Company to address climate change, corporate social responsibility and public relations issues. • Led client interaction, business development, proposal writing, and successful project delivery with several government agencies, private foundations, and corporations.

Managed the Sacramento office and was responsible for securing, supervising, and delivery of $1 million of consultant contracts.• Secured funds and led a team of technical staff to develop an innovative landcover database covering over 250 million acres in Alaska. • Work with Ducks Unlimited, Forestry and Tar Sands Industry to setup a new conservation initiative in Alberta, Canada with the Pew Charitable Trust. • Procured a $500,000 contract with U.S. Bureau of Reclamation in the Lower Colorado River Region, and another $500,000 grant for a large commercialization /technology transfer project with NASA Stennis Space Center in Mississippi.
