Logistics Procurement, Contracts & Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Manager

Contracted for logistics procurement supporting the Facebook AR/VR Trade, Logistics & Fulfilment team.

- Managed regional sourcing, negotiation, contract lifecycle management and capacity planning for third party outsourced warehouses in EMEA. (Europe, Middle East, Africa).- Directly oversaw warehousing expenditure of 65 contracts.- Significantly contributed to sourcing events related to globally managed warehousing expenditures, composed of the 8 largest warehouses in EMEA.- Member of the J&J Global Third Party Logistics Counsel which shared best practices and drove supplier management standardization. - Executed business plan, achieving regional savings objectives year-on-year by driving procurement initiatives through benchmarking and consolidation opportunities.- Organized cross functional alignment of sourcing pipeline with networks and go-to-market strategy.- Implemented and contributed to global contract and tender documentation standards.- Led and managed team of two specialists on contract management and sourcing.- Left J&J due to relocation of spouse to SF Bay Area.

- Directly managed key distribution projects for the agrochemicals & seeds business unit e.g.: -> Developed concept and piloted the regional distribution center which included postponement. -> Sourced external warehouse which facilitated volume growth at manufacturing site. -> Opened second regional hub, resulting in savings over 25% on warehousing and transport.- Led the EAME logistics network optimization program which resulted in consolidation of agrochemical and seeds warehouses, closure of redundant warehouses and opening of new warehouses in emerging markets.- Logistics business partner to in-country and territory organizations; monitored financial KPI’s to identify variances and jointly define actions/projects to achieve budget objectives. - Led the logistics projects team (2 FTE) which were leading projects such as: - SAP WM implementation at Syngenta manufacturing site. - Implemented global Customs software tool (MIC) for optimization of Preferential Origin savings.

- Coordinated Pan-European RFQ responses related to Warehousing & Distribution and Service Parts Logistics.- Prepared commercial pricing of warehouse and distribution solutions; -> Activity based costing of warehouse operations based on volumes and productivity. -> Integration of WMS solution, interfacing, distribution concept & pricing.- Execution of simple supply chain studies using Llamasoft CAST and participation in complex supply chain studies with specialized network design team.

- Lead engineer for implementation of Telecom OEM central warehouse for EMEA in the Netherlands- Co-designer and key-user of SAP WM solution for Telecom OEM global warehouses- Project manager for subsequent warehouse implementations in Dallas-Fort Worth (USA), Dubai (UAE) and Suzhou (CN): - In charge of main tasks including: process design & warehouse lay-out, organizing SAP R/3 training to new key-users, coordination of testing and managing time-lines and deliverables. - Ensured transfer of knowledge on the concept of operations.

- Supported regional warehouse operations across 4 warehouses in South Netherlands.- ISO 9002 Coordinator for main Technology site of consumer electronics OEM.- Improved process of existing customer operations; resulting in improved return flows, productivity improvements in picking & loading process, transport savings due to order consolidation.
