Hired to revitalize sagging printing press sales in US for British owned company. Expanded organization and increased sales exponentially through direct sales and indirect dealer sales. Personally sold largest order in US company history.Left to join HRB,Inc.

Operated as No. 2 man in new venture of Fortune 500 Company competing with 3M company. Responsible for sales and all marketing functions. Delivered 26% increase in sales in first 2 years with 300% increase in operating profit. Tripled size of sales force in 3 month period, which required unusual organizational skills.

Selling sheetfed printing presses and bindery equipment, ranked No. 2 of 85 salesmen nationally in first full year. Exceeded 100% quota in both full years. Based on performance, was selected by Corporate Staff as participant in Harris Corporation Junior Executive Development Program. Promoted to Merchandising Manager-Small Presses.As result of this performance, in January 1975 was promoted to Marketing Manager of this $ 35M Division reporting to the VP Sales.
