• Using NARR Reanalysis Data to perform a climatological assessment of terms in the significant tornado parameter.
• Write programs in Python to manipulate the data to produce maps and histograms for different time periods and box areas.

• Analyzed different arctic region’s sea ice variability and its impact on midlatitude circulation and hydrological cycle using data from the National Snow and Ice Data Center, ERA Interim, and Global Prediction.
• Sea Ice concentration was detrended using NCL to check for statistical significance of the linear trend line.
• Detrended U-Velocity (and Precipitation) was regressed on the detrended sea ice concentration for each region to plot correlation with Matlab.
