Postdoctoral Research Fellow
- Designed research protocols for uncovering the mechanism of action of a novel anticancer monoclonal antibody in Triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) using human monocytes, fibroblasts, and macrophages(TAMs)
- Isolated human monocytes from PBMC, differentiated the monocytes into macrophages, and used the macrophages for antibody dependent cell cytotoxicity assays(ADCC).
- Used immunological techniques such as isolation of primary immune cell subsets, primary cell culture and expansion of immune cells, multicolor flow cytometry and cell-based functional assays.
- Provided accurate reporting on timeline and project status to the partner company through periodic meetings.
- Conducted extensive tumor and immune cell cytokine and chemokine release assays(using cytometric beads assay) in the presence or absence of IL-1 pathway inhibition in order to understand how that affects tumor.
