As a council member, I will be representing youth voices in UNFCCC negotiations, and climate-related events, advocating and engaging with member states, UN bodies, NGOs, and other stakeholders for the inclusion of youth perspectives in climate policies and international frameworks, while providing technical and policy inputs to negotiations and engaging with decision-makers at the UN climate change conferences, and promoting youth participation in climate change projects at local and national levels.I’ll also be working with other council members to make decisions on the direction and priorities of the constituency and ensuring the smooth operation of internal governance structures and processes, including meetings, elections, and reporting.We will report to the broader youth constituency about outcomes from negotiations, key decisions, and next steps.
