Technical Support, Customer Service, Content ManagementCoolwallstreet Nov 2000 - Jun 2002CoolWallStreet was a stock market simulator website designed to get people who wouldn't normally be interested in the stock market because of a lack of education and resources interested by offering an environment that was free, educational, and fun. Users who signed up for the service would download software that when opened would run PPC ads in exchange for 'CWS dollars' which could then be used to 'buy' the stocks on the simulator. When a user gained enough profit, they could use their CWS dollars to buy e-books, small cash prizes, and other items. My roles were providing customer service and technical support for website and software via email, managing site content and client-side software content using a content management system, and entering stock data for site stock simulator. I created custom process for entering data for stocks, reducing time spent entering data from 30 minutes to less than 5 minutes.
