Responsible for organizing and then leading the International Marketing Research and information management team. Annual project budget approached $20mm with a staff of 21. Provided corporate, consumer and merchant research, information and business consulting services to Business Management Teams in 5 regions and 25 countries (all non-US activities). Responsibilities included doing excellent research, advocating for the customer, helping to shape strategy, providing investment returns in excess of other corporate alternatives, and continuously improving what we did, how we did it, what we learned and how we used that learning. Department mission was to provide customer and market insights in a compelling, timely and actionable manner to drive business growth, profitability and customer commitment.
