I am a Shareholder in the Munsch Hardt Houston office and a member of the litigation group. I have tried over 60 cases in many forums in the United States and handle complex commercial litigation. Over the past 41 years working as a successful trial lawyer, I have gained extensive knowledge regarding the business of oil and gas exploration, production, and refining. I have taken industry courses in refining, refinery economics, and well control; and hold a IADC certification for well control at the supervisor level. I have counseled clients and handled cases regarding many of the disputes an energy company could have with another company or an individual. I have investigated and handled significant matters, including refinery fires and explosions and well control events at drilling locations; environmental contamination from legacy oil field production and industrial and refining operations; corporate internal investigations; employment discrimination and whistleblowing; breach of contract; theft of trade secrets; and covenants not to compete. I am also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston Law Center teaching Professional Responsibility.
