I run my own startup, Lucitext, as of December 2020. I develop models, do research and provide consulting for AI-related problems with a specific focus on natural language processing and data science related tasks.

I have worked with a team to develop third-party text mining applications. We have been developing NLP applications for Turkish, English, Arabic and French, ranging from general-purpose text classification systems to query indent detection and dialogue systems.

I worked on a project for fallacy detection in user-generated argumentative content; conducted an extensive study of argumentation theory, the quality and the feasibility of the available data and the annotations, looking for novel ways, in particular with distant supervision methods, to form a ground truth of fallacy identification.

I assisted on average three distinct courses per semestre in the Department of Computer Science. Logic, Automata Theory, Linear Algebra, Natural Language Processing, Introductory Programming, Logic Circuits, Data Mining are the ones that I have assisted the most. I additionally supported the supervision of several graduation projects on natural language processing and machine learning.
