• Manage performance and develop employees; provide resources, training, feedback, and development opportunities• Provide incredible service through maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the store's financial transactions• Maintain open lines of communication with supervisors and coworkers to ensure efficient department operations• Preserve their culture, lead with their values, and ensure Wegmans remains a great place to work• Provide incredible service to employees and customers; assist Store and Department Management, run profit and loss reports, help solve financial inconsistencies and solutions; manage payroll• Work with cash flow departments; give loans, check for discrepancies, and consult with managers as needed • Oversee total store Accounting operations; balance, and maintain money (tills, sales, ATM, lottery); verify payroll and financial data accuracy, fully stock tills• Ensure office operations run efficiently, safety and security of store assets is maintained, practices and procedures are followed, confidentiality is upheld• Perform hourly pick-ups and readings to monitor sales and revenue, check for overages, shortages, and causes for discrepancy; prepare daily deposits, verify prior day’s bank activities

Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing payments to the organization                                   Collaborate with team members to provide necessary financial reports to senior-level managers Handle payroll functions as required by the organization Handle general ledger bookkeeping when necessary Look for and provide solutions for accounting irregularities Manage client accounts and payment schedules Perform other duties as assigned

• Balance accounts by reconciling entries• Maintains records of financial transactions for multiple clients by establishing accounts; posting transactions daily; ensure legal requirements compliance.• Review, code, and process vendor invoices and solicit approval from appropriate managers• Conduct monthly Balance Sheet account reconciliations by verifying, allocating, posting, and resolving discrepancies• Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures; complying with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements
