Bioscience division of Baxter was split to become Baxalta, an indépendant Biotech company that have been finally bought by Shire then Takeda.

Large projects for new process or products introduction and new manufacturing suites up to 30MUSD budget including multisite coordination. These projects include scope, resources, budget and vendors management, planning, risks mitigations, top management report out. Main projects are:• Cell culture Medium Nanofiltration (>15MUSD)In order to mitigate viral contamination risks in upstream bulk production process,installation of 6 fully automated Nanofiltration units ahead of bioreactors for continuous filtration during cell culture. I led the concept, design, planning, installation, commissioning and qualification phases during plant shutdown up to regulatory filing and approval by FDA, EU,... I managed a project core team of 10 people with 3 direct reports. I am accountable of the schedule and cost control management from initial estimation and business case to budget approval.• Bioreactors media feeding and harvest tanks (>15MUSD)Modification of the overall upstream bulk production process in 2 manufacturing suiteswith design, installation, commissioning and qualification of 10 new 3000L-3800Lproduction vessels, utilities and building modification. This in replacement of previousmanual operations with disposables containers. Project team up to 50 people duringexecution phase in plant shutdown.• Bulk production capacity increase (>11MUSD)Installation of an additional 2500L bioreactor, collecting tank and 2chromatography skids (affinity and anion exchange) and columns downstream withbuilding, HVAC and utilities modification. Execution phase during plant shutdown.• New Monoclonal Antibody (Mab) manufacturing suite (>30 MUSD Greenfield project)Construction of a new Mab Manufacturing suite at Neuchatel including design,construction, business case preparation for budget approval.

Several industrialization and improvement projects as operational excellence expertfollowing project management as well as Lean six sigma methods• Installation of 3 automatic vision inspection lines from design to qualification.Implementation of DDFP process and six sigma approach during these projects inorder to reduce defects and false positive detections.• Several process improvement projectsI led several DMAIC projects as green belt for defects reduction and Lean initiatives inorder to improve cycle times, outputs and operational efficiency.
