She has also contracted with ONC, the State of TN as CTO for the statewide HIE and a Not-for-Profit 501(c)3 HIE located in Knoxville, TN known as the East TN Health Information Network (etHIN). Prior to founding Serendipity Health, Mrs. Davis was senior director of Informatics at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). Prior to joining HIMSS in May 2006 she was employed by Eclipsys Corporation as Director, IT Product Strategies. From 1994-1997, she was the Vice President of Implementation for Omnicell Technologies for the Southeastern Territory.
