My name is Didier Bozec and I am the Laboratories Director of Eurofins York. I am responsible for the management, operations and development of our three UKAS accredited testing laboratories based in Bristol, Leeds and Grangemouth. I also assume the role of Laboratory Business Manager for our Grangemouth site which entails day to day management of the laboratory. I have more than fifteen years of experience in the field of regulatory compliance, both as a company director/manager and a consultant. My areas of expertise include electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), electrical safety, electromagnetic fields (EMF) and radio approvals for a wide range of electronics and associated industries.I am passionate about delivering results, with my colleagues, and being “hands-on” to achieve them - this has been a key success factor in the development and completion of two brand new, state-of-the-art and now highly reputable test laboratories for the business, from project inception to delivery. This experience has also proven instrumental in our current work in progress, which is the development of a brand new laboratory in Leeds. I pride myself on being known and accessible to all our customers, having built many strong and positive relationships over the years. I strive for excellence in all aspects of customer service, prioritising customer needs in terms of their product approvals’ priorities above all else in my day-to-day responsibilities. In terms of my background, I have the unique blend of technical and managerial qualifications, in that I am a Chartered Engineer with a PhD in Solid State Physics and an MBA. At an operational level, I have attained NEBOSH H&S qualifications and I am an active member of the IET.
