SCOPE of Production IT Specialist Generally mostly Senior tasks: system analytics, communication, SPOC for production and CIT, coordination, creating strategies, plans. In particular:o High level planning, supervision, consulting of network topology.o Performing basic security assessments, documentation. Will include interviews with plant people (manager, automatician engineer, production manager).o Technical support – can be different depending on individual situation. Usually this should cover support in regards to any elements of infrastructure (computers, IP network, operating systems etc.) in the plant.o Periodical visits in the plants.o Taking care about CIT Standards for Production IT: * Ensuring (best efforts) that Standards are known (by Plant Manager), understood and obeyed. * Processing and documenting exceptions.o Being the partner for production employees/management, discussing needs, figuring-out non-functional requirements.o SPOC - Contact with plant personnel; mainly manager, automatician engineer.o Coordinating/consulting cabling/connectivity needs, coordinating roll-outso Discussing new applications, modifications to existing applications.
