Since 2005, Didier Schwab holds a PhD in Computer Sciences from University of Montpellier where he worked on modelling, detection and exploitation of lexical functions for analysis. He spent almost two years as research fellow at the Unit for Machine Translation in Penang (Malaysia), where he mainly worked on improving an example based machine translation system with techniques developed during his PhD.His is now Professor at UGA / IUT2 and researcher at GETALP-LIG in Grenoble (France). His research interest is now focused on lexical semantics through semantic analysis based on ant algorithms, conceptual vectors and very large semantic network construction and exploitation.Specialties: Computer Sciences, algorithmics, Natural Language Processing, semantic analysis, lexical networks, WordNet, ant colony algorithms
