Jeg er høgskoleutdannet bibliotekar fra Nederland og har flere års erfaring som bibliotekar i både barneskole, ungdomsskole, videregående skole og høgskole. Valg og formidling av barne- og ungdomslitteratur, stimulering av leseutviklingen og lesegleden, samt veiledning av barn og ungdommer i biblioteket har alltid vært en viktig del av jobben min. Stillingene mine som bibliotekar har vært spesielt preget av utvikling og fornying av bibliotektjenester innenfor utdanningsbransjen, gjerne i samarbeid med IKT- og media-avdelingene på skolene.Spesielt i dagens informasjonssamfunn blir det stadig viktigere å utvikle informasjons- og media-kompetansen. Som bibliotekar kan man være en viktig ressurs og veileder i utviklingen av denne grunnleggende kompetanse, samt skape lesegleden som varer ut livet. I denne sammenheng kan jeg tilby dette jeg er best i: å bygge opp og utvikle spennende og fornyende bibliotektjenester til skoler, informasjonsformidling tilpasset alder og informasjons-kompetansen, skape lesegleden og lære bort informasjons-kunnskapen til neste generasjonen!I am a librarian holding a Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Service and Management, with a specialization in information retrieval/technology and a minor in youth literature. I have extensive experience as a librarian in both primary schools, secondary schools, high schools, and teacher training colleges (for primary school teachers). Selecting and promoting children's and young adult literature, fostering reading development and enjoyment, as well as guiding children and adolescents in the library have always been integral parts of my job. My roles as a librarian have been particularly marked by the development and innovation of library services within the education sector, often in collaboration with the IT and media departments of the schools.Especially in today's information society, it is becoming increasingly important to develop information and media literacy. As a librarian, one can be a valuable resource and guide in the development of this essential competence, as well as instill a lifelong love for reading. In this context, I can offer what I excel at: building and developing exciting and innovative library services for schools, tailoring information dissemination to different age groups and information literacy, fostering the joy of reading, and passing on knowledge of information to the next generation!
