About Diedre Young

I am the co-founder of Parsec Enterprises, Inc. We founded Parsec in 1977 to specialize in servicing of electronic timepieces. Since then Parsec has become one of the largest independent watch repair facilities in the U.S. We repair virtually all styles of watches from vintage to smart watches and have provided services to the largest manufacturers, retail chains, and distributors since our inception.Aside from being Vice-President and CFO of Parsec, I personally designed an developed our company’s database system from scratch using the 4D development language. I’ve been developing within this language since 1986. The program is extremely comprehensive in that all of our technicians and, indeed, most all our 55+ employees are connected through our local network internally maintained. The program as I designed it allows for continual, real time updating of all technical data (all technicians have client computers at their stations), extensive customer service information, receiving data, shipping data, parts pricing/inventory, vendor information, accounting processes, accountability and reporting data, as well as, time clock and internal messaging protocols.The system allows for immediate data updates internally and from our remote service center we maintain in Akron Ohio . I, also, am the Vice President and CFO of Zantech, Inc. We purchased Zantech in 1996 from Lou Zanoni of Trenton, New Jersey. Zantech designed and developed many of the very first pieces of test equipment utilized by the quartz watch industry. We have carried on the Zantech name and continue to supply repair solutions to the watch service industry to this day.I, am the owner of Arwen Enterprises which is my own database development company.
