Diego Caceres Ceballos is a first-year transfer student at UC Santa Barbara working towards his B.S. in Physics. As a first-generation student, Diego is the first person in his family to attend university in the U.S. which serves as motivation to persevere in succeeding in his education. He also hopes to attend UC Santa Barbara for a M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering. Some of his skills include proficiency in Python, MATLAB, circuitry design, trouble-shooting, and laboratory note-taking. He has exceptional attention to detail and is proficient in both Spanish and English. During his free time Diego enjoys partaking in playing sports such as volleyball and spike ball, staying in touch with his family, learning new languages such as French and Italian, and new skills such as CAD modeling .
