The purpose of the study was to address the intersectional effects of the national shift away from science education in public schools and the historical impact of culturally insensitive teaching on students of color in urban areas. My role was focused on coding, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from the responses of the students. The data analysis has focused on understanding how the students interacted with the virtual reality and the culturally relevant content of the lesson. -
